Sights! Part 2

Fruit. I think that if someone sold cut up fruit in Vancouver people would buy it. Such a tasty snack. Street vendors are hot now, so some one get on that.

Night market. Bright, busy and tasty. At this market, near the end there was an old lady sitting next to a table full of dildos. True story. It's funny because the rest of the market was very G-rated. Mostly socks and sparkly iphone cases.
Sausage and grilled cuttle-fish. Grilled cuttle-fish must be good, since I've seen it all over Asia, but I have yet to try it.

Soups and meats. Steamy and delicious.

Just guessing, but I think this is fish head soup? Probably good, but all I can think is "Casssssssie, don't eat meeeeeee", all looking up at me with those slimy eyes and stuff.

  1. Whoa, I don't read the blog for a day or two and I have so much excitement to catch up on! First of all, I think you need to spiff up the Winning At Life blog (Love and Pancakes looks all new and fancy). Second of all, I don't care how open minded you are, but fish head soup is probably not good... think of all those head bones getting stuck in your teeth. Thirdly I am sending both you and Kris lovely get well, be healthy vibes. Fourthly (this is getting a little ridiculous), I want to knit you something. Suggestions?

  2. Who wouldn't want to try that soup. It looks tasty and delicious.

Your pictures and descriptions remind me of Thailand...only the writing's different. You must try dried cuttlefish before you come back...I dare you.

Thanks for all the pictures...so, so good.
